Malcolm Davis, the architect for this project, has an excellent sense of traditional Sea Ranch Architecture. This home was taken down to the studs, but left the stone fireplace and existing beam and roof decking structure in place.
New windows and exterior doors were installed, to take full advantage of the amazing Cove views. Vertical Grain Douglas Fir cabinets by Jackson Hantzche, Bamboo floors by Rich Ambrifi. Striking blue Heath Tile backsplash offsets the bright white countertops and appliances in the Kitchen. Each Bathroom features a walk in shower, tiled with Limestone.
As a nod to the timeframe in which the original structure was built, a Redwood Stob End walkway at the Entry, and a site built ‘framed-wall’ bookcase system in the Library. This project is an excellent example of bringing a tired Sea Ranch home up to date.
