We had the pleasure to work with some truly amazing clients to build this remarkable home for them! This was a three year process that started with extensive site work, clearing trees and cutting a pad into the side of the mountain making room for their vision to come to life. Inside the home you will find clean modern lines that continue seamlessly through each section of the home, gorgeous custom cabinetry in every room, solid surface countertops, an incredibly unique reclaimed wood top at kitchen island that waterfalls down to floor on both ends, custom concrete floors, hydronic floor heating, steel fireplace surround and storage, custom concrete hearth, rubber flooring installed at indoor gym, beautiful Raw tile covers both showers making you feel like you are in an outdoor oasis and continues seamlessly throughout the bathroom, a Lutron homeworks system and a complete audio video system with whole house control that even the biggest tech fan would drool over.
Every inch of this home has been meticulously thought out and designed by Studio Bergtraun and the result is indescribable. Cedar siding, Corten steel panels, steel trellises topped with galvanized grating, and living wall screens cover the exterior of this unique home as well as a built in BBQ area. Massive LaCantina accordion-style glass doors on both sides of the home, that when opened up, blur the lines between indoor and outdoor living.
