Moonraker Remodel
Remodel, ResidentialMoonraker Remodel

This project was a remodel and refresh of an early Sea Ranch home, situated up the hill on the East side of the Highway. The home already had fantastic views up and down the coast, so the task was to update the home with modern lines, while still honoring its original design intent. From the first meeting with the Owners (the husband was the Architect for this project), it became clear that we all shared a deep appreciation for Sea Ranch, its architecture, and history.

Every room of the home was updated with Vertical Grain Douglas Fir cabinets, tile floors and showers, new finishes and lighting. Siding, windows, and sliding glass doors were also replaced at the majority of the home. The final interior touches were to refinish and reinstall the original Malm fireplace, install several super-graphics, and hang the owl lighting fixture in the Living Room. We then moved outside to create a fenced courtyard with paver pathways, dry stacked stone walls, redwood hot tub, and a crushed oyster-shell bocce ball court.
