We completed this fun Sea Ranch interior remodel for a very informed and involved client. We took a very outdated kitchen and brought it up to date using oak cabinetry, stone countertops, and built in appliances. We removed a section of wall and a number of tall cabinet elements, which opened this kitchen up to both the main living space and maximized the ocean view—creating a very open feeling floor plan. The cooktop (with downdraft venting) now faces the living room and dining room, making cooking a social event.
We also removed the old wood burning fireplace and replaced it with a very clean gas unit—with viewing glass on two sides. Removal of a heavy tiled mantle created a very simple and attractive fireplace surround. Outside, we replaced the aged hot tub, did siding repairs, and pressure washed and stained the entire exterior. The result of this Sea Ranch interior remodel was a beautifully refreshed home, a very happy client, and project completed right on schedule!
